Though I’m not that much into fashion, besides all the technical stuff, what really caught my eye in TRON were the outfits inside the MCP.

Fashiondesigner Louise Goldin created 80’s- and TRON-inspired clothes for last year’s fall season. Pretty interesting.
I still miss the lights and glowing on the clothes, maybe fall 2010?

Translation of atoms to bits:

There is a technology called 3D scanning. A 3D scanner is a device that analyzes a real-world object or environment to collect data on its shape and possibly its appearance. The collected data can then be used to construct digital, three dimensional models useful for a wide variety of applications.

In my opinion this is a form of translating atoms to bits. Maybe in the future it is also possible to digitize people like in Tron.
