Unterirdische Stadt

Die unterirdische Stadt befindet sich in der Türkei dort werden neben der einen von Derinkuyu noch weitere 49 dieser Städte vermutet. Sie liegt in der Provinz Nevsehir und hat eine Fläche von 2500 Quadratmetern. Entdeckt wurde das Tunnelsystem 1963 durch einen Zufall.

Artificial birth

I found an article from 2002, but all the things mentioned seem to be still in progress and developing, cause almost every website dealing with this subject links back to this article.
Scientists work on “artificial wombs” which could allow the fetus to grow outside of a woman’s body. Apart from giving hope to women with damaged wombs, this also raised a lot of ethical questions and fears.

It is nothing new that People live in Underground Cities.
In 1963, an inhabitant of Derinkuyu (in the region of Capadocia, central Anatolia, Turkey), was demolishing a wall of his house- cave, and discovered astonished that behind the wall was a mysterious room that never had been seen; this room took to another one, and this one to another one and another one… By chance the underground city of Derinkuyu was discovered, whose first level could be excavated by hititas around year 1400 a.C.

Underground City:

In my opinion nowadays people are spending much time under the earth’s surface when they are sitting in the subway on there way through the city.

Also there are some houses called “Erdhügelhäuser” which are underground. These houses look like the houses of hobbits in “lord of the rings”. They are save and warm and environmentally friendly.
So, it is really possible that there will be underground cities in the future.

The whole world of THX 1138 plays in artificial light. If this would be a real scenario, people would react physically and emotionally having to live without sunlight.
