Though I’m not a feminist, it’s interesting that Ridley Scott tries to establish a female hero in a science fiction/horror movie, which was not common at that time (and still isn’t, I guess).
There’s a whole sub-genre of science fiction, the “feminist science fiction” which deals with role models, social issues and gender roles in general.

The first space tourist was Dennis Anthony Tito.
But he pay 20 million dollars for 7 days, 22 hours and 4 minutes in space. I think that space traveling in the future must be very cheaper, so that evry one can travel and not only the richest people.

Imagine there is somithing growing in your body! It seems to be a tumor, but it is nothing like that.

“As the doctor cut deeper into the stomach he watched something unnatural. “To my surprise and horror, I could shake hands with somebody inside,” he said. “It was a bit shocking for me.”
“Inside Bhagat’s stomach was a strange, half-formed creature that had feet and hands…”
His twin was living inside him.
To my mind this twin looks like an alien. The twin inside is like a parasit, he can’t live without his host.

Es gibt ja angeblich auch schon Parasiten im Hirn, die das Verhalten mitbestimmen. Nachgewiesen wurden die zwar erst bei Tieren, aber wer weiß … vllt sind wir ja auch schon befallen

There is a board-computer in “Alien” called “Mother”. Mother controls all the systems on the space shuttle. It automatically switches the lights on, wakes up the crew from their suspended animation, navigates the ship and so on.

Today there is also technique which can control our surroundings like for example our house. This process is called Home Automation.
So thats why I think that computers will participate more and more in our lifes in the future and maybe once we’ll have a “Mother” in our home, on which we depend on.

There are Species on Earth which we dont know. For instance in Caves or very deep under the Surface on Seebottom. They’re living in unbeliveable cold or hot climates and having completely diferent metabolics/way of living…just like aliens.
