Am Bostoner Whitehead-Institut haben Wissenschaftler große Fortschritte erzielt. Die Forschung bezog sich aber erstmal auf Säugetiere. Forschern ist es gelungen ein defekte Immunsystem von Mäusen zu reparieren. Bei Menschen klappt es leider noch nicht, embryonale Stammzellen in großen Mengen gezielt einem bestimmten Zelltyp zu zuordnen.

Other people celebrate in clubs and pay with a computerchip that is implanted in their arms. I think this is too much. I don’t want to buy something if I have to show my fingerprint or my eye, because of the fear that somebody who needs money, could cut it off.

Aber seine Frau ist anscheinend ein Klon. Sie sieht ja anscheinend aus wie seine alte Frau, heißt aber Allison. Und auf einmal nennt er sie dann Barbara, wie seine alte Frau. Nur deswegen könnte es auch sein, dass die Kinder Klone sind.

The Model for the M.O.I took Terry Gilliam from the real Ministry of Information in Great Britain which was responsible for publicity and propaganda in the Second World War. What interesting is, The M.O.I had at this time also the BBC under control where George Orwell worked for and he took the M.O.I also as a model for his “Ministry of Truth” in the novel 1984.
